Here at Bay Meadows Farm, we strive to accomplish our moto: “Where Dreams are Born from Legends.”  We breed high quality warmbloods for ambitious amateurs and professional dressage riders from only the highest quality and proven bloodlines.

Bay Meadows Farm was founded in 2012 when we bred our first mare, Dressy Affair to the stallion Cor Noir.  Along with Dressy Affair, the mares Bellissima and Roman Holiday completed the “Bay Mares” of the farm.  In 2013, Bay Meadows Farm welcomed it’s first foal, a filly by Cor Noir out of Dressy Affair.  The filly, Classy Affair, earned her premium foal title and high scoring foal at her Oldenburg NA inspection.

In 2015, Bay Meadows Farm welcomed it’s second foal crop with two colts.  A colt by Negro out of Roman Holiday – Koraggio, and a colt by Parabol out of Dressy Affair – Pollux.  Koraggio went on to earn his First Premium foal status with the KWPN-NA.

In early 2016, we welcomed our newest broodmare, Divine ISF, and later that year her 2016 filly by UB40 – Legacy.  Also in 2016, both Roman Holiday and Divine were bred to Sir Gregory and Florianus II respectively.

In 2017, we welcomed Roman Holiday’s Sir Gregory colt, Masolino, and Divine’s Florianus II filly, Majestic.  We are excited about their breedings this spring for their 2018 foals.  Roman Holiday is expecting a foal by the exciting young stallion U-Genius (Who is by Uthopia, Carl Hester’s Olympic gold medal mount, and who is out of Weidyfleur – Valegro’s FULL sister).  And Divine is expecting a TOTILAS foal in the spring of 2018.

In addition, we also added another mare to out line up; Denira.  Denira is a direct De Niro daughter out of a Wertherson / Don Carlos mare.  Like our other broodmares, Denira brings strong dressage lines with some outstanding jumper blood as well.  We love the added jumper blood to our broodmares.  Denira not only brings outstanding bloodlines to our program, but she is also a super high quality mare in her own right. She is very beautiful and correct, is a lovely  and powerful mover, and is super sweet.  Denira’s first breeding with is in the spring of 2018.

In the spring of 2018, Roman Holiday had a very handsome KWPN colt by U-Genius, N-Genius.  We are very happy with this cross, and it is on our list to repeat.  Roman Holiday was also bred to Franziskus for a spring of 2019 foal.  We are hoping, that at some point, Roman Holiday gives a keeper filly.  So far, it’s been only colts from her.

We also sold Divine and her in-utero Tolilas foal, because we decided to retain Majestic for our breeding program.  Majestic brings exactly what we are aiming for with our breeding program.  She has a great temperament, is correct, and a beautiful mover.  We are planning to try some ET’s with her as a two-year-old in the spring of 2019.

In 2018, we also added another broodmare to our band through a lease; Darcy Diamond.  DeeDee is a gorgeous 2007 imported Hanoverian mare by Diamond Hit out of a Cheenook mare.  She has been breed to Foundation for a 2019 foal.

Look out, we are crossing everything for at least one keeper filly out of our three 2018 breedings!

  • Sir Sinclair x Denira (De Niro x Wertherson x Don Carlos)
  • Franziskus x Roman Holiday (Roman Nature x Cor Noir)
  • Foundation x Darcy Diamond (Diamond Hit x Cheenook)

We currently have four active broodmares: Denira, Roman Holiday, Darcy Diamond, and Majestic.
