N-Genius Keuring Video

She has three outstanding and correct gaits which captivates your attention and epitomizes dressage movement. Holly herself is a premium mare who was the second highest scoring mare during her Oldenburg Mare Inspection in the country.

12003959_1214565251892954_2706867895653124993_nHolly is an incredible and proven producer of top quality offspring with four Premium foals to her name. Holly’s 2013 filly, Sandro’s Holiday by Sandro Hit, impressed the GOV committee with her beauty and movement, taking home not only Premium Foal but also Foal of Distinction and Champion Foal of the inspection. In addition, Holly’s 2015 colt Koraggio by Negro earned his First Premium status with the KWPN and Holly’s 2016 colt Richland by Richman has been designated a premium foal and stallion prospect with the Danish Warmblood Association.  In 2017, Holly produced a KWPN colt by Sir Gregory, Masolino.  Masolino combines the S, D, and R lines into one exciting foal.

Holly currently has premium offspring, including a stallion prospect, with FOUR registries; the GOV, Oldenburg NA, Danish Warmbloods, and the KWPN.

Holly was hand selected by Claire Hester to be one of the first six mares in the United States to be bred to U-Genius.  This is a very exciting opportunity and a very rare foal here in the US.

U-Genius carries “Gold Medal Blood.”  The genetics of this powerful young stallion are so interesting being by UTHOPIA out of the only full sister to VALEGRO. He shows wonderful willingness to work, super suspension and very good power from the hind legs. U-Genius’ breeding credentials are superlative and glittering with gold! His sire, Uthopia, was part of the extraordinary London 2012 GB Dressage Team winning Team Gold and Individual Bronze. His dam is the only breeding full sister to VALEGRO, who is quite simply ‘the best the world has seen’ having won every title and medal possible including Individual Gold medals at both London 2012 and Rio 2016 and concurrently holding and breaking his own World Records in all 3 Dressage categories.

U-Genius has very much been kept ‘under wraps’ until now. He was quietly made available to British and European breeders for the 2016 season and quickly sold out of the nominations available for his first full season. He is available to approved mares only and a waiting list is in place for 2017.  And we are excited that Roman Holiday was one of six mares in the US selected.

U-Genius is a big and powerful horse with outstanding balance and gaits. His aptitude, ability and willingness to listen and learn are extraordinary. He has deliberately been slowly and quietly brought on by his breeder, being ridden by Amy Woodhead under the guidance of Carl Hester. His extremely clever brain has enabled him to learn the initial dressage movements quickly and easily. He has often taken the role of the ‘young horse’ in demonstrations with Carl Hester to give him public exposure without the pressure of young horse classes.

Most recently, U-Genius has been in training with Carl Hester himself, and it is anticipated U-Genius will be Carl Hester’s next international Grand Prix superstar.
