At Bay Meadows Farm, a lot of planning goes into our breedings.  We are always looking for stallions who can complement and improve upon our outstanding mares.

While we always lean towards proven stallions in both the arena and the breeding shed, we occasionally will look at an outstanding young stallion who has a proven sport pedigree.

We seek to breed for the ambitious amateur or the professional dressage rider.  After all, as an amateur rider, why should you settle for lower quality when you can have it all – talent, temperament, and quality.

Here are some stallions in our tank and future breeding plans.  In addition, we also welcome custom breeding requests.

U-Genius (Uthopia/Metall x Weidyfleur II / Negro)

• This is a powerful young stallion are so interesting being by Uthopia out of the only full sister to VALEGRO.
• We are very excited and proud that our super producing and premium Oldenburg mare, Roman Holiday, was selected by the Hester’s to be one of the first six mares in the US to be bred to U-Genius this spring (2017) for a 2018 foal.  He has a very limited book, so this is a very exciting opportunity.
• “Holly” had a first premium KWPN colt by Negro in 2015 who was super.  So we already know she crosses well with those lines.  We are excited to see what she produces with the added Uthopia/Metall line.

Dante Weltino (Danone I / De Niro x Welt Hit II)

• Olympic bound in 2016!
• We are excited about pairing him with Roman Holiday

Governor (Totilas – Jazz – Ulft – Roemer)

• Another exciting Totilas son ridden by top rider Adelinda Cornelissen
• ET Breeding planned in 2017 for a 2018 foal with Majestic.

De Niro ~ This great stallion needs no introduction!

• I have had this in my tank for a few years, and I am saving for a special breeding… and hopefully a keeper filly!   But either way, colt or filly… this will be one special baby!
