Legacy, a 2016 KWPN-NA filly, is by the KWPN stallion UB40 (Olivi, Keur x Michelangelo, Elite) out of Divine ISF, Star (Rampal, Crown / G Ramiro Z, Preferent x Germus R.).
She is a large, modern, long legged filly, who still maintains good bone and substance. She is going to be a good sized mare, estimated to finish about 16.2+. She is very friendly, outgoing, and sensible. She has powerful movement and very correct and animated gaits with great leg technique. The filly already exhibits both a strong push and the ability to sit. She has a natural uphill way of moving with a very free shoulder.
Legacy recently attended the KWPN-NA Keuring at Iron Spring Farm where she received wonderful remarks on her confirmation and movement. Here is a short video clip:
UB40 is a successful FEI horse and one of the most sought after stallions. He is the sire of the Approved stallions El Capone and Apache in the Netherlands, and dozens of 1st Premium offspring in North America.
Divine ISF is an exceptional broodmare who has produced numerous First Premium foals for the KWPN-NA. Divine has sought after bloodlines as a rare daughter of the USET shortlisted and Grand Prix dressage Champion sire Rampal, Crown, and as a granddaughter of both the international Grand Prix show jumper, Germus R., and the iconic ‘Stallion of the Century’, G Ramiro Z, Preferent.
At the 2011 KWPN Keuring, Divine was 1st Premium, Champion Jumper Mare, and was awarded the Star predicate. In the 2011 KWPN-NA Top Five, she was the 3rd place Jumper Mare in North America. Divine is Keur eligible. She is an agreeable, sweet mare who is easy to work around with lovely, correct conformation. She has good maternal instincts, is highly fertile, and easy to breed. Divine’s 2013 colt, Intrepid ISF, by Judgement ISF, Crown was 1st premium at his Keuring and the 4th place Jumper Colt in the country for 2013.
The combination of these outstanding dressage and jumping lines has proven to produce a foal with powerful movement and very correct and animated gates. The filly already exhibits both a strong push and the ability to sit.
